Lorenzo Alvarez Arquitectos is an architecture, urbanism and design practice based in Mexico City. The studio operates in the fields of architecture, design and landscape urbanism. We work very close to our clients to help them shape visions and develop personal, comercial and investment projects. We believe in experimentation and contextual research as the source of innovation and we take great care of design processes to obtain unique and detailed solutions. We believe in sustainability as a principle for any process and material operation.
Lorenzo Alvarez
Studied at the Architectural Association School in London, the Politecnico di Milano and the ITESM Queretaro. He leads the practice since 2008. He worked in AS Studio in London. He was a National Arts and Culture Young Creator grantee in 2004. His work has been shown in the Modern Art Museum of Mexico. He is a regular collaborator of Animal magazine and member of the editorial board of Arquine, the leading architecture publisher in Latin America. He is founder of the Abierto Mexicano de Diseño, the design festival of Mexico City.
